The Lithgow District Chamber of Commerce is announcing the return of it’s “The Black Rose Excellence in Business Awards 2024”.
It was a long time coming when in 2022 the Lithgow LGA held its first awards in over 10 years in, thanks to the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery funding received in 2021. Since then, thanks to sponsorships and ticket sales, the Chamber is able to hold the awards again in 2024.
Eight award categories are being offered this year with one People’s Choice Award being for the community to vote on for Lithgow LGA’s favourite business.
The Award categories are –
1. Outstanding Young Business Leader
2. Excellence in Micro Business
3. Excellence in Small Business
4. Outstanding New Business
5. Excellence in Sustainability
6. Outstanding Community Organisation
7. Outstanding Employee
8. People’s Choice Award – Lithgow LGA’s favourite business.
The Black Rose Excellence in Business Awards night is being held on Saturday 23 November at the Lithgow Workman’s Club, and will be a gala cocktail dress event celebrating the excellence of our business community.
Community members can nominate a business to enter the Awards by emailing – events@lithgow.org.au . The Chamber will then call the business and ask them to enter based on your nomination.
